Me as someone who loves VNs and sick stories, will always say people should play the Visual Novels instead

▶️Example: Description of 1. part of kara no shoujo VN from the VN database
March 1956.
In a recovering Tokyo, ten years after Japan's defeat in the War, private eye Tokisaka Reiji receives a peculiar request from a girl in Inokashira Park.
"I need you to find something. Me. My true self."
Meanwhile, a series of macabre homicides afflicts the vicinity, involving the unexplained disappearance of young women, only to turn up dead and maimed with their wombs torn out. Seeking aid for the perplexing investigation, Detective Uozumi Kyouzou reaches out to his old friend and former colleague, Reiji.
Ouba Girls Academy, nestled on the outskirts of Houya City, is where Reiji's younger sister goes to school. It has recently become the center of a local investigation due to the unexplained disappearance of two young women.
To gather more information, Reiji takes on the guise of a substitute teacher and infiltrates the academy. It is there that he encounters the girl once again.
Kuchiki Touko, Reiji's initial client, the girl who sought her true self. Her demeanor bears a distinct boyishness as she greets him:
"Heya - so we meet again, Mr. Detective."
As the body count rises, what was initially a simple investigation into missing students spirals out of control. An incongruity emerges between the number of missing individuals and the unidentified bodies discovered.
Who will become the next victim?
What enigmas lie behind these new cases amid this ceaseless cycle of tragedy? Are they connected to a series of similar murders from six years ago?
Perhaps one girl's smile might await beneath the shell of tragedy...
▶️ Example 2: Description of the prequel from the VN database:
DescriptionSix years after the war's curtains fell in Japan, Takashiro Shuugo found himself on a train bound for Zushi, a world away from his past life at the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department. The headline on the newspaper in his lap reminded him of the path that had led him here:
Ueno Serial Dismemberment Murder Case
This bone-chilling case set the wheels in motion for Shuugo's unexpected journey. His former boss had bitten off more than he could chew with the investigation and, knowing their shared history, reached out with a request — "Could you lend me a hand?" For Shuugo, turning a blind eye wasn't an option. He was roped into a case involving the disappearance of a damsel from a high-flying family.
At the Kouzuki estate, déjà vu hit him like a ton of bricks when he encountered Kouzuki Kazuna, the spitting image of his former flame, Kouzuki Yura. Kazuna, with fire in her eyes, implored him to unearth the whereabouts of her vanished twin. Yet, a man gravely informs Shuugo, "That girl, in truth, is no longer among the living..."
A maze of fiction and reality unravels in Ueno, a town still grappling with the post-war environment. And thus, a new tragedy is set in motion.
